Welcome to all the new alumni!

Classmates voted overwhelmingly for Carmen Zahno to receive the IM Alumni Graduation Prize at yesterday’s graduation ceremony in Olten where 60 students received their Bachelor IM degree.(Another 50 IM’s graduated at campus Brugg).

Carmen was praised for her work managing the Olten ESN and for infecting everyone with the school spirit. “With her creativity and her infectious optimism… (she brought) us as a class closer together,” wrote one classmate.  Graduating BSc IM student can vote for which student they feel most deserves the recognition and CHF 400 prize.  Other nominees were Alex Ngu, Nuria Koppel, Lukas Schiesser and Kristian Berisha. Another IM student, Thomas Loser, was awarded the prize for the best grade average in Communications modules.

The money for the prize is raised at the annual #IM Boss event,  which includes a charity auction – this year another CHF 2000 from the proceeds went to sponsor 20 young Vietnamese from disadvantaged backgrounds.

60 BSc IM students received their degrees this autumn.  (The full list is available on the school website ) Congratulations, we wish you well in the next life phase and hope to see you again. (Perhaps at the #IMBoss in March 2018?!)
