Nearly 50 new IM graduates joined the alumni ranks on Friday 2 October at the official FHNW School of Business Graduation Ceremony in Olten.

IM Alumni instigated a Graduation Prize three years ago to acknowledge the importance of social contributions.  During those years of studying, the learning community profits greatly from those who contribute by being class representatives, acting as buddies for exchange students, organising student events, lending a helping hand.  So in summer we always ask the graduating students to nominate and vote for those students they feel have contributed most.  This year the winner was Lia Flück: classmates praised her for  “her positive and determined mindset”, for being very “sociable” and always being helpful. Lia received a cash prize of CHF 400 – funds which are raised during IM Alumni events.

There were in all, this year, 10 nominations which reflects how many IM’s go the extra mile: The full list of nominations were – Alacam Mansur, Lea Arago, Lia Flück, Daniela Flühler, Ladina Flury, Tanja Kühni, Anna Katharina Rieder, Katrin Steiner, David Stutz, Ruben Zwahlen.

Congratulations to all graduates: we sincerely wish you happiness and success in the next life phase and very much hope you stay in touch with the IM Alumni.
