The popular Bid for a Boss event is back. On 12 April we’ll again auction off exciting, unique opportunities with interesting bosses from all walks of life – proceeds go to a charity.

So nominations are now open for both a charity and for bosses.  Mail us at alumni.bsc-im.business@fhnw.ch or message us on Facebook or LinkedIn with your nominations. See info below.

And yes, of course, you can also just register to come and enjoy.  After the auction there’s speed-networking, great food and drinks, opportunities to meet old and new friends.  To register use the contact form at the bottom of this post.

Requirement Charity: An IM Alumnus/a is closely involved, the charity matches our paying forward approach by being either international and/or promoting education. We usually raise about CHF 2000 for the charity – previously we supported Catalyst4Change (delivering laptops and ICT training to rural Nigerian youth), Swiss Support Foundation (providing health insurance for Philippine children) and the Beatrice Secdonary School in Uganda.

Requirement Boss: Offering an interesting opportunity and willing to be there on 12 April to be auctioned.  Examples of previous offers: boat trip with a marketing expert, trip to European Parliament in Brussels with opportunities to join workshops, a day in a communications agency, Q&A with a top financial controller over drinks, visit to SRF TV show.  See more
